Pipeline Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Pipeline is a networking CRM for students and the organizations they belong to, operated by Pipeline Network LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("Pipeline", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Pipeline. You can reach us any time at cameron@getpipeline.app.

1. These Terms are an agreement

By creating an account, signing in, or using Pipeline in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pipeline. If you use Pipeline on behalf of a student organization, you also agree to these Terms for that use.

2. Who can use Pipeline

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you and agrees to them. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You may not use Pipeline if you have previously been removed from it for violating these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your password private and let us know right away at cameron@getpipeline.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account.

4. What Pipeline is, and what it is not

Pipeline helps you organize professional relationships: contacts, conversations, follow ups, drafts, and goals. Pipeline is a tool, not a promise of results. We do not guarantee that using Pipeline will lead to any interview, job, referral, or other outcome. Nothing in Pipeline is legal, financial, or career advice.

5. Your content

You own the content you put into Pipeline: your contacts, notes, drafts, goals, and everything else you create ("Your Content"). You give us a limited license to host, store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not sell Your Content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for Your Content. When you save information about another person, you confirm that you may lawfully store and use it. Save professional contact information gathered through normal networking, and treat it with respect.

6. Organization pools

If you join a student organization on Pipeline, you can choose to submit contacts or insights to that organization's shared pool. Anything you submit to a pool becomes visible to that organization's approved members under the direction of its officers, and it may remain in the pool after you leave the organization. Officers are responsible for reviewing submissions and managing their organization's membership. Pipeline provides the tools; each organization is responsible for how its members use them.

7. Sending email through Pipeline

If you connect a Google account, you authorize Pipeline to send email that you compose or schedule, from your address, using Google's send-only permission. We never read your inbox. Every message sent through Pipeline is your message: you are responsible for its content and for complying with applicable law, including laws about unsolicited email. Do not use Pipeline to send bulk or automated unsolicited messages. You can disconnect your Google account at any time in Settings.

8. AI features

Pipeline's Coach and drafting features use artificial intelligence to suggest text and guidance. Suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit. Review everything before you send it or rely on it. You are responsible for what you actually send. AI features have usage limits, and we may change how they work, their limits, or their availability at any time. If you supply your own AI provider key, you are responsible for that provider's fees and terms.

9. Free and Premium plans

Pipeline offers a free plan and a paid Premium subscription. Premium is currently $10 per month, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable and we do not give credit for partial periods. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice. We may also change what is included in each plan.

10. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Pipeline. In particular, you agree not to:

We may investigate violations and may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that put the service or its users at risk.

11. Third party services

Pipeline works with third party services, including Google (sign in and email sending), Stripe (payments), AI providers (Coach and drafting), and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Their terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for third party services, and outages or changes on their side may affect Pipeline.

12. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion removes your account and Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy, except content you submitted to an organization pool, which the organization keeps. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service; where reasonable, we will give you notice so you can export what is yours. Sections 5, 13, 14, 15, and 17 survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

Pipeline is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure, or that content, including AI suggestions, will be accurate or reliable.

14. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: Pipeline and its members, managers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for all claims together is limited to the greater of fifty dollars ($50) or the amount you paid Pipeline in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Your responsibility for your use

You agree to defend and hold Pipeline harmless from claims and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from Your Content, your messages, or your violation of these Terms or of someone else's rights.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Pipeline evolves. If a change is material, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Pipeline after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, contact us at cameron@getpipeline.app and give us 30 days to work it out with you informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Each side pays its own attorney fees unless the law says otherwise.
